Organization: Spire Agency |
In the digital age, brochures are falling out of favor. But brochures can convey messages and emotions which are often lost on a computer screen. TrinityRail is the largest provider of rail transportation solutions in North America. The company sought to refresh its brand and turned to Spire Agency for help. The Dallas based B2B agency prides itself on combining customer insights with impactful content. Spire created a lush brochure printed with two layers of metallic ink. The technique gives eye-popping photography an added dimension. With crisp and provocative text sprinkled throughout, the TrinityRail corporate brochure stands a world apart in the conservative realm of railcar marketing.

Organization: Columbia Records |
Social media is a fluid and quickly moving stream which requires rapid responses and agile strokes to navigate. Record companies, with their millions of Gen Z and Millennials consumers, have been forced to adapt perhaps even sooner than most other companies. Blink-182 is one of Columbia Records’ better-known bands. On September 20, 2019, the punk-pop band was set to release an album and wrap their summer tour at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center. September 20 also happened to be the day that alien enthusiasts were set to conduct a viral raid on Area 51 in Nevada–long known as a secret, mysterious government site and home to many conspiracies. One of Blink-182’s fan-favorite songs happens to be “Aliens Exist.” Columbia pulled together the pieces to create a huge flow of user-generated content amplified across a network of influencers, online outlets, and the band’s personal channels. What they created garnered millions of impressions and hundreds-of-thousands of engagements online. And yes, the night of the concert there were dancing aliens on stage. Great job, team!

Organization: DMi Partners |
A logo is more than just a branding icon. It’s an image that has the power to immediately make a statement and announces who you are to the world. Because of brevity and visual challenges, creating a classic logo is tricky. Some companies use flourishing scripts and colorful swoops and swooshes, and others try with clever letters playing-off of the company name. Rastelli’s, a direct to consumer online butcher shop routed in family history, is not a Coca-Cola or Mercedes, but its logo is just as memorable. DMi Partners of Philadelphia crafted a logo that is eye-catching, creative, and deadly accurate; it nails the business with simple black and white sketches of animals comprised of carving knives.

A compelling print publication can be a thing of beauty…as much art as information.
