What’s better than a wine-sipping hot-air balloon ride over the French countryside? A virtual wine-sipping balloon ride over the Italian countryside. The French may have invented the custom, but the Italians are perfected it without ever leaving the ground. New York based Inspira Marketing Group created a promotional event for Barone Fini wine’s Pinot Grigio in the Italian Dolemites. It was literally a pop-up event with a inflatable backdrop of mountains and a balloon. Attendee dawned virtual reality goggles while in a wicker-like basket for a 360 immersive experience.
