Winnie the Pooh is a perennial character in literature, movies, television specials, and toys. Although Pooh is a nostalgic character for older generations, newer generations are not as familiar with the character. Disney Consumer Products was faced with the challenge to reintroduce Pooh to newer generations with their own household characters.
To introduce today’s children to Winnie the Pooh, Disney created a digital campaign that reaches parents. In a clever digital tagged ‘First Best Friend”, Disney targets new parents and reminds them of something they may have forgotten. Pooh is rendered as a living, breathing, cuddly creature ready to make new memories with new friends. The series of videos is as charming as the character.

When professionals in our industry use their skills to capture natural beauty, the outcome is both impressive and memorable. One of these memorable projects is Blue Marble Media’s video “Southern Charm: Experience Georgia.”
Blue Marble Media, an Atlanta-based creative studio, was approached by the Georgia Department of Economic Development to create a video encompassing the overall Georgia experience. The studio produced a video that captures Georgia’s charm and tells the state’s story through stunning imagery.
The video features music from a Georgia-based band, and shots of Georgia’s scenery, including vineyards, small towns, cities, forests, historical landmarks and much more. Blue Marble Media successfully captured the beauty of an entire state in one video in their project.

Open Education Resources (OER) is a new academic trend that offers fully licensed documents and media to further enhance education. Recently, the University of British Columbia Library began offering OER and needed to alert it students and the general public.
UBC developed a marketing-communications plan utilizing print, video, digital, and social media that targeted stakeholders both on and off campus. The campaign garnered impressive results, increasing web page traffic by 140 percent, Twitter engagement by 118 percent, and Facebook engagement by an astounding 1,116 percent.

Creative professionals are often granted the opportunity to use their skills to work with organizations focused on the greater good. These experiences are not only gratifying because we bring the organization’s vision to life, but also because of the positive impact of these projects.
Studio Flox GmbH collaborated with Humany Tee and Jugend Rettet to create a video that brings attention to the refugee crisis in the Meditteranean Sea. The agency created a video using advanced animation, a charming voiceover, and a storyline that features obstacles representative of challenges refugees see when seeking asylum. Studio Flox, Humany Tee and Jugend Rettet created the video not only to explain the refugee crisis, but also to bring attention to rescue operations, safe routes of entry, and how citizens can help the cause.
“The following should underline the core message of the film: Everyone can help so that these people do not have to die,” The director said. “Purchasing a T-shirt which supports Jugend Rettet can be a starting point.”

AARP designed an integrated marketing campaign to demonstrate the value of older workers in today’s job force. The campaign features facts and figures surrounding employment opportunities in the U.S., employers’ hiring habits, and helpful tips for re-entering the job search.
AARP designed a site as part of their integrated marketing campaign with a series of infographics to display information surrounding the older workforce. The infographics communicated the campaign’s information in a visually-engaging way, making AARP’s site memorable and easy to reference.

Tactfully addressing sensitive subjects can be difficult for filmmakers, but when successfully executed, can make a memorable piece.
Multipleoutlet Productions was approached by Amudim Community Resources, a nonprofit, to create videos encompassing Amudim’s services. The organization provides a variety of support, education, awareness and intervention services for families in difficult circumstances.
Multipleoutlet demonstrated Amudim’s impact through a series of videos depicting private, but unfortunately common, struggles families face in every community. In “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD,” a man feels alone from childhood trauma, and in “The Drug Reality” a family navigates their daughter’s addiction.
Both videos use well-executed storytelling and cinematography to convey how Amudim Community Resouces’ services provide support for people facing these unimaginable situations.

Today, an organization’s website is most likely the first point of contact with prospective clients and customers. If a site is out-of-date, hard to navigate, or doesn’t communicate a business’s benefits, the organization could lose potential sales and connections.
The Aspire Group, a sports and entertainment firm, recently redesigned their site to stay up-to-date with their clients. The firm revamped their site by adding video-based visuals, updated structuring and navigation, compelling calls to action and more concise wording.

Hewlett Packard develops some of the most advanced modern technology, including 3D printing. To showcase the different applications of 3D printing, HP put together a series of videos to capture their different clients’ use of the technology.
HP approached Zeal Film, Ltd. to tell the story of one of their 3D print technology clients, Look Real. Look Real is a custom doll company based in Spain that has operated for more than 50 years. Before being introduced to HP’s 3D printing, Look Real was unable to manufacture dolls that look exactly like their owners.
Zeal Film’s video for HP goes behind the scenes at Look Real’s workshop to capture the manufacturing process. Through an interview and a voiceover, Look Real’s CEO explains the company’s history and desire to create custom dolls for children. Look Real finally made this dream a reality with HP’s 3D printing technology, and can now create custom dolls to resemble anyone in the world.
