Ever wonder how many golf balls are lost or discarded each year?  Daniel J Edelman Ltd, a global communications firm, estimated the number comes to approximately 1.5 billion. With the COVID-19 Pandemic hindering production across industries, Edelman decided to recover as many balls as possible and tie the effort to the DP World Tour. The European Tour was transitioning to the DP World Tour, and the event needed better exposure. DP World is a multinational logistics company based in Dubai. It was decided that the balls would be placed in a specially designed shipping container and transported to the countries hosting the tour. The company’s capabilities would be highlighted while at the same time promoting the golfing event. In a win-win situation, the advertising campaign generated hundreds-of-millions of impressions and hundreds of news articles across traditional and social media platforms. In the end, 130,000 balls were collected and eventually distributed to grassroots golf charities.

Like America, England has its own tax due dates; one is called Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. It’s a dreaded day where business owners submit paperwork to the tax authority of the U.K. government. A company called Debitam raises the question: Is there a better way of doing this? The company reached out to London based McGill Productions to convey the message. McGill created a tongue-in-cheek epic Hollywood style film to answer the question. The video draws upon the pagan past to illuminate a better path.

What’s better than a wine-sipping hot-air balloon ride over the French countryside? A virtual wine-sipping balloon ride over the Italian countryside.  The French may have invented the custom, but the Italians are perfected it without ever leaving the ground. New York based Inspira Marketing Group created a promotional event for Barone Fini wine’s Pinot Grigio in the Italian Dolemites. It was literally a pop-up event with a inflatable backdrop of mountains and a balloon.  Attendee dawned virtual reality goggles while in a wicker-like basket for a 360 immersive experience.

Huemor is a website agency based in Pittsburgh.  It markets itself as a firm that helps companies, big and small, discover what makes them unique and channel it to a memorable experience that outsells the competition online. Huemor recently designed a website for Hitt, a nationwide big-project construction company. The highly stylized website showcases company projects with motion-packed visuals and interactive graphics. The easily navigable website draws visitors into the projects while highlighting company achievements.

Festivals and conventions are a staple of corporations. Inevitably, the companies produce a video of smiling participants mugging for the camera and having a happy time interspersed with event speakers. It’s all in good fun. Emarsy does things a bit differently. The Chicago based marketing company services more than a thousand companies worldwide. Emarsy builds, launches, and scales personalized cross-channel campaigns that have measurable impact. In the highlight video from the “Power to the Marketer Festival”, producers use an array of editing tricks to entertain you while turning the festival into a story.

Pepsi owns Doritos and is responsible for designing, marketing and distributing the chips. Recently, Pepsi wanted to amplify the voices of Black innovators. Contributing $50,000 in support of their work, Pepsi tasked them to create packaging called “SOLID BLACK.” The bags of chips featured geometric designs and pops of colors anchored by a glossy black background. The design earned 400 million media impressions along with a 100% positive/neutral sentiment.

Every year, an estimated six million pets enter animal shelters. To raise awareness and spark a national conversation around homeless pets, Mars Pet Care, a pet food company, partnered with NFL teams to host a special event in Nashville and Kansas City. Nashville Titan quarterback Ryan Tannehill became the face of the campaign and was photographed with multiple adoptable dogs for social media. Pet shirts were worn by players. Mars Pet Care also arranged for shelter animals to greet players as they entered the stadium. As a result, hundreds of homeless pets were adopted. Even more impressive, the event was covered by Sports Illustrated, CBS This Morning and the New York Post among other news outlets creating more than 500 million impressions. View entry, here.

Lamborghini is a world class automobile company that strives to say relevant in any decade. The car company partnered with Web3 Pro to enter the realm of NFT’s (Non Fungible Tokens) and create digital assets for revenue while promoting its brand. Web3 Pro is a NFT specialty firm located in the Bay Area. Web3 Pro designed NFT’s of a finely detailed silver Lamborghini launching into space. Depending on your perspective, the car is either coming together or coming apart revealing the intricacies of a world class design. The NFT’s, named “#ToTheMoon”, drew a top bid of $203,000. The campaign generated well over 2 million hits, page views, and likes. View NFT, here.

The world climate is rapidly changing providing hardships for hundreds-of-millions of people. Some of those hit hardest are indigenous women who are also the most vulnerable. The Climate Investment Fund is one of the world’s largest and most ambitious multilateral climate finance mechanisms for developing countries seeking to shift to low carbon and climate resilient development, and to accelerate climate action. CIF turned to Bumbuku Creatives of Amsterdam to produce an animated film to highlight the plight of these women. The film is a series of brushstrokes that paint the dangers abstractly while telling a riveting story. Watch film, here.
