With all the breast cancer awareness efforts throughout the country, it can be difficult for a specific message or organization to stand out. Strong creative visuals are key to grabbing attention, and the “Know Your Lemons” campaign by Worldwide Breast Cancer has done just that—reaching 166 million in January alone.

The charity’s design-led approach removes the difficult communication barriers around breast cancer to inform more powerfully, setting a new standard for awareness on an impressively global scale. Who knew lemons could take the bitter topic of cancer and turn it into a sweet metaphor for saving lives?

Scorpion Internet Marketing takes an individual approach, creating websites that are unique for each client. Scorpion, with offices in Texas and California, is one of the fastest-growing firms of its kind in America and is also a Google Premier Partner.

Scorpion recently designed a website for a legal client, Deans & Lyons, that blends strong graphics with stylized photographs to draw visitors and hold their attention. After a few minutes on the website, you feel you not only know the attorneys, but have a strong feel for their work.

Title of Entry: “Eau Du Soleil – Interactive Video”
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Category: 212. Videography

Empire Communities is one of Canada’s largest integrated master-planned community homebuilders. Of course, before something is developed, you have to market it.

Pureblink out of Toronto created a video to showcase Empire’s Eau Du Soleil that overlooks Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline with the emphasis placed on the condominiums’ expansive terraces. Since the property was not yet built, Pureblink needed to come up with a way to show potential purchasers what their lifestyle would be like living at Eau Du Soleil and the benefits of buying a suite with a terrace, as well the different views. The result is a stunning interactive masterpiece that combines beautiful cinematography, dynamic directing, and clever editing.
