At 1,200 acres, the Port of Savannah’s Garden City Terminal is North America’s largest single-container terminal and growing. Over the next decade, the Georgia Ports Authority will expand its capacity by more than 30 percent through a series of infrastructure improvements.

To explain to stakeholders what the Garden City Terminal is and where it’s going, the Port of Savannah created a unique video combining live action with animation. As an architect rolls out a blueprint, the video cuts between the old and new terminals to showcase the future changes. Digital animation combined with rotoscoping techniques help audiences visualize the potential for capacity growth.
